Living in a Russian house hold, its common to hear your parents say something about how "hard" it was to live under the ruling of the Soviet Union. Many stories were told and many policies that they had to follow sounded ridiculous. so the main topics i want to explore in the following weeks is

-What lasting impact did it have on the world?
-What sparked the fall of the soviet union?
-What happened to the countries that were liberated from the Soviet Union?
-What were the rules the citizens had to abide by?
-What was the punishment for non abiding citizens?
-How did Stalin come into power after Lenin?
-Conspiracy theories behind Lenin's death and Stalin's takeover?
-How was their economy set up?
